Who it's for

The X60 Max Ultra Complete is the robot for pet owners who want a documented test record rather than a spec sheet. When Vacuum Wars reviewed it on August 28, 2026 it took first place on the site's Top 20; by the September 24 update it sat fourth, one place behind the Roborock Qrevo Edge 3 Pro. The numbers behind that ranking are the strongest in this comparison: 89 percent on carpet deep cleaning against a 78 average, 100 percent of flattened pet hair picked up against 82, 0 percent of test hair wrapped on the brush against 26, 136 points on the dried-stain mop test against 93, and 22 of 24 objects avoided against an average of about 16.

It is built for homes with hard floors and area rugs, pets that shed, low furniture and steps between rooms. It is the premium pick on our list of robot vacuum and mop combos.

What stands out

The pet features. The Complete dock carries two detergent tanks, one for standard floor cleaner and one for a pet-odor formula, and doses both automatically. The onboard bin empties into a 3.2 L bag that Dreame rates for up to 100 days, the longest interval in this group. Combined with the zero-tangle result from the HyperStream DuoBrush 2.0, which has a retractable pressure plate to release hair, it is the least demanding of these four robots for a household with a shedding dog.

The body. VersaLift retracts the LiDAR turret into the shell, bringing the height to 79.5 mm (3.13 in), and the chassis is rated for 45 mm (1.77 in) single thresholds and 88 mm (3.47 in) two-step ones. Vacuum Wars cleared a 51 mm step in its test, above the rating. The side brush extends 1.57 in and one mop pad swings outward for edges. Android Authority's reviewer found it reliably recognized the step down into a sunken living room and never fell.

Obstacle avoidance uses two AI cameras with LED and projector-style illumination for dark corners, recognizing 280-plus object types. The 22 of 24 result trails only the eufy Omni S2 here. The 6,400 mAh battery is rated for 180 minutes and charges from 9 to 80 percent in about 80 minutes, and Dreame says Matter support arrives by update.

Mopping. The pads spin at 230 RPM, press down with 15 N, mop with 104°F heated water and lift 21.5 mm on carpet; the dock washes them at 212°F through 20 nozzles and dries them with hot air. The dried-stain score was the best in this group, though the combined mopping score of 19.9 landed below Vacuum Wars' 22.8 average once water usage was factored in.

Where it falls short

Water. Android Authority's reviewer needed to refill the clean tank after roughly 600 sq ft, about every one and a half runs, and called the robot needy for that reason. If you have a large hard-floor area, expect frequent trips to the dock.

Rugs. The same review found the magnetic mop pads popped off when the robot pushed into loose rugs in bathrooms and entryways and bunched them up. Vacuum Wars did not report this, and there is little long-term owner feedback yet. Homes with fringed or lightweight rugs should consider the Roborock, which can leave its pads at the dock for carpet runs.

Coverage. Navigation efficiency of 0.64 sq m per minute and about 950 sq ft per charge are both below Vacuum Wars' averages of 0.71 and roughly 1,170, so a large home will need recharge-and-resume. The 235 mL onboard bin is the price of the slim body; the dock empties it after every run. Android Authority also rated the Roborock Saros 20 better at edge cleaning.

How it compares

The Roborock Qrevo Edge 3 Pro matches the Dreame on height, threshold ratings and 212°F washing, adds a little rated suction and a 256-minute runtime figure, and House Digest reported no pad-detachment or water complaints. The Dreame counters with a bag rated for 100 days rather than 65, the pet-odor tank and a fully published test record. Pet owners should lean Dreame; everyone else can pick on availability and discounts.

The eufy Omni S2 beats it on the obstacle course (24 versus 22) and never lets its roller run dirty mid-run, but its 82-point dried-stain score is far below the Dreame's 136, its threshold climbing was inconsistent at Vacuum Wars, and its wash water is 140°F rather than boiling. The eufy Omni C28 matches the Dreame's carpet and pet-hair scores in a lower price class but is 4.4 in tall and avoided only 15 obstacles.

Bottom line. Buy the Roborock Qrevo Edge 3 Pro for a large mixed-floor home with rugs and thresholds, where its longer runtime, carpet-only mode and higher Vacuum Wars rank matter more than bag life. Buy the Dreame X60 Max Ultra Complete for a pet household on hard floors that wants the 100-day bag, the pet-odor detergent tank and a fully published test record, and can live with more frequent water refills.

Verdict

Buy the X60 Max Ultra Complete if you have pets, low furniture and hard floors, and you want the longest interval between bag changes plus automatic odor control. Skip it if loose rugs cover your floors or if you will resent refilling a water tank every couple of runs. It is the best-documented robot in this group, with a few maintenance habits you should know about before it arrives.
