Best overall in Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos
Roborock Qrevo Edge 3 Pro
The best all-round combo for mixed-floor homes with thresholds and low furniture. Buy it for the most complete dock in this group, and accept that it nudges small objects.
Both robots retract their LiDAR to slip under 3.2 in furniture, climb 45 mm thresholds and wash their mops in boiling water. They part ways on the dock, the pet features and how much independent test data backs the spec sheet.

On paper these two are nearly the same robot. Roborock rates the Qrevo Edge 3 Pro at 36,000 Pa and Dreame rates the X60 Max Ultra Complete at 35,000 Pa. A 1,000 Pa gap at this level is not something you will notice on a rug, so the suction row goes to the Roborock only because the number is higher.
The bodies are within a millimeter of each other. Both retract their LiDAR turret, bringing the Roborock to 3.14 in and the Dreame to 3.13 in, and both are rated for a 45 mm single step and an 88 mm two-step threshold. The difference is evidence. Vacuum Wars ran the Dreame over a 51 mm step in its August 28, 2026 review, above the rating. The Roborock's chassis is documented only in Roborock's spec sheet and a Vacuum Wars launch report from September 15, so the threshold row leans Dreame on verification rather than on design.
Sensing under furniture differs more than height: the Roborock pairs its retracted LiDAR with structured light, an RGB camera and VertiBeam side sensors, while the Dreame relies on two AI cameras with their own illumination. Neither is clearly better at 3.1 in.
This is where the comparison stops being a tie. Vacuum Wars published a full review of the Dreame with numbers: 22 of 24 objects avoided on its course against an average of about 16, 89 percent carpet deep cleaning, 100 percent flattened pet hair and 0 percent hair wrap. For the Roborock, as of September 24, 2026 the site has a launch report and a Top 20 placing but no obstacle course result, no carpet score and no hair-wrap figure.
The Roborock still ranks third on that Top 20 list, one place above the Dreame, so Vacuum Wars rates it highly. But the only independent obstacle finding so far is House Digest's September 25 review, which reported it sees furniture, people and pets well and pushes low-lying items such as toys around. Until a course score exists for the Roborock, the Dreame has the documented edge, and a cluttered home should weigh that.
Both use two spinning pads washed at 212°F in the dock. The Dreame presses harder and spins faster, 15 N at 230 RPM against 14 N at 200 RPM, and it scored 136 points on Vacuum Wars' dried-stain test against a 93 average. Its combined mopping score of 19.9 still landed below the 22.8 site average once water use was counted, and Android Authority found its clean tank ran dry after roughly 600 sq ft. House Digest's complaint about the Roborock was the reverse: the pads lose moisture partway through long runs, so heavily soiled floors need a second pass.
Rugs decide the mop question. The Roborock can leave its pads at the dock and run vacuum-only on carpet up to 1.81 in thick. The Dreame lifts its pads 21.5 mm on carpet, which works on low pile, but Android Authority reported its magnetic pads popping off when it pushed into loose bathroom and entryway rugs. If your floors are mostly hard with a few rugs, the Dreame's harder scrub wins; if carpet covers much of the house, the Roborock's approach is safer.
Edge reach is a wash: the Roborock swings its FlexiArm Arc side brush and mop outward at corners, the Dreame extends its side brush 1.57 in and swings one pad out, and both reviewers reported clean edges.
The docks are the real reason to pick one over the other. Both wash the pads at 212°F, refill the robot, empty the bin and dose detergent. The Roborock adds a dirt sensor that rewashes until the rinse water runs clear, a self-cleaning wash tray and a published drying temperature of 131°F. Dreame says hot-air drying but does not publish the temperature, so that row cannot be scored.
Where the Dreame pulls ahead is maintenance intervals. Its 3.2 L bag is rated for up to 100 days against the Roborock's 65, and the Complete dock carries two detergent tanks, one for floor cleaner and one for a pet-odor formula. For a home with a shedding dog, that is roughly five weeks more between bag changes. The Roborock's dock is the more complete piece of engineering; the Dreame's is the one you will handle less often.
The Roborock's runtime figure is 256 minutes in Vacuum Wars' launch report, the longest in this group. The Dreame is rated for 180 minutes, and in testing it covered about 950 sq ft per charge at 0.64 sq m per minute, both below Vacuum Wars' averages of roughly 1,170 sq ft and 0.71. Add a water tank that empties after about 600 sq ft and the Dreame suits a medium-sized home, or a large one that accepts recharge-and-resume and mid-cycle refills. The Roborock's coverage has not been measured yet, so this is a rated-versus-tested row, but the runtime gap is large enough to matter.
Buy the Roborock Qrevo Edge 3 Pro if you have a large mixed-floor home with rugs, door thresholds and low furniture. The longer rated runtime, the carpet-only mode that keeps pads off wool and the third-place Vacuum Wars rank make it the safer all-round choice. Accept that its obstacle record is thin until a full review lands, and keep small toys off the floor.
Buy the Dreame X60 Max Ultra Complete if pets are the main reason you are shopping and your floors are mostly hard. Its 100-day bag, pet-odor tank, zero hair wrap and 22-of-24 obstacle score are all documented, and its mop scrubs harder. Plan on refilling water more often than you would like, and skip it if loose or fringed rugs cover your floors.
If neither fits, our list of the best robot vacuum and mop combos covers the eufy alternatives with roller mops and stronger obstacle scores.
Buy the Roborock Qrevo Edge 3 Pro for a large mixed-floor home with rugs and thresholds, where its longer runtime, carpet-only mode and higher Vacuum Wars rank matter more than bag life. Buy the Dreame X60 Max Ultra Complete for a pet household on hard floors that wants the 100-day bag, the pet-odor detergent tank and a fully published test record, and can live with more frequent water refills.
